Elijah Righter is a Virginia-born Americana/Country songwriter with musical roots from age 7. He draws influence from Dave Rawlings & Gillian Welch, The Band, and The MGs.

Righter's songs explore themes of class disparity, heartbreak, and the loneliness that comes with being human.

His live shows balance grit, humor, and vulnerability, comparable to both outlaw storytellers and classic soul.

Our Creative Aging series honors adults 55+ as creative and social learners and helps shift the narrative about growing older away from a negative view to one of optimism, engagement in community, and joy.
